“Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.”
— Heb. 13:2
As more and more international students come to study in Europe, we are challenged biblically to offer hospitality and to reach out to them with the gospel. IFES’ work among international students is a strategic way to impact the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. We long to see student-led witnessing communities reaching out to the far side of the world - in the room next door to them. And we long to see believers return to their home countries secure in their faith in Jesus and able to lead others to him.
New website launch: www.lookathefields.org
Miriam put her trust in Jesus during her time as an international student in the UK. Not long after she returned home she found herself drawn to work among international students in Germany. She is not alone and the opportunities for others to get involved are great. More than 1.8 million international students are studying in Universities across Europe and there is much more that can be done to introduce them to Jesus.
If you are an international student soon to return home then this new website has been created to help you to get involved in international student ministry in your own country.
www.LookattheFields.org reminds us of Jesus’ words in John 4 to open our eyes and look at the fields ready for harvest. If you’ve come to know Christ or been built up in your relationship with Him while an international student you have an opportunity to help others to do the same.
This website will help you to Prepare well, to Act appropriately and to Learn the basic skills needed to start a much needed ministry among international students wherever God takes you.
